The sauna was definitely the standout feature, who doesn't love sweating in a steaming room? Tennis was also a thrilling activity, because let's be honest, nothing says vacation like chasing a small yellow ball around.

We enjoyed a short stroll to the nearby Lakeland Motor Museum, and it was just a 15-minute drive to Lake Windermere and the surrounding areas. The apartment had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We especially loved the view of the river from the patio, it felt like being on a cruise. The staff at the bar were helpful, and the ambiance was exceptional. we would definitely recommend Lakeland Village for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at Lakeland Village in Newby Bridge! The apartment was so well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything from an oven to a washing machine and dishwasher. It made me feel right at home with all the amenities I needed as a solo traveller. The spacious bungalow was a dream, with a private entrance, a cozy seating area, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The bedroom with a comfortable double bed and the bathroom with a shower and hairdryer were just what I needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, having a fridge, dishwasher, and kitchenware in the fully equipped kitchen was a major bonus. Oh, and did I mention the kettle in the room? That was a thoughtful touch!

I must admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the sofa bed in the living room. Personally, I found it a bit uncomfortable.

The well-equipped apartment had everything we needed and we especially appreciated the free Wi-Fi and fully stocked kitchen. It was also conveniently close to Kendal and Windermere, making it a great base for exploring the South Lakes.

The property felt a bit dated and could use some modernization. It had more of a retirement village feeling, with mostly older guests.

During my transit travel, I stayed at Lakeland Village in Newby Bridge, which was conveniently located only 54 km away from Blackpool Airport. The database provided thorough information about the hotel and its amenities, making it easy to plan my stay. The hotel itself was comfortable and had a nice ambiance, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing experience.

One minor downside I encountered was the lack of clear communication regarding check-in instructions and the closing time of the Carriage House.
